Meet Zachary

Zach adds incredible value to our clients by actually listening. Being an advisor forced him out of his old habit of talking too much. If the goal is giving the most suitable financial advice, of utmost importance is discerning exactly what his clients are communicating and understanding it in the context of their lives and aspirations.

Before joining Wise Counsel in 2011, Zach graduated with a BBA in Finance from Texas State University. While there, he managed a portion of the University’s $20 million endowment fund which kept him focused on investment selection and analysis. He was extremely fortunate to have Bob as a mentor since his focus and strength has always been on the personal planning aspects of finance. Having a background in both investments and planning has been extremely helpful in discussions with clients.

After 10 years commuting from Austin, he and his wife Jenn are super excited to have finally purchased a home in Georgetown. They are looking forward to involvement with the local community and organizations. They’ve been certified for foster-care babysitting, love to travel, try new local eateries, and be outdoors as much as possible. Zach is also an avid petrolhead who loves working on and racing cars!
